This documentary was insane. INSANE. Initially when I watched the first episode on Netflix I thought the storyline focused on just the boat crash and the death of Mallory Beach. What I didn't know was that the Murdaugh's have been covering up murders that involve them for years. Alex Murdaugh being the captain of it all. With the death of their housekeeper, Gloria, and the high school boy Stephen Smith, it all adds up. How can one family get away with so much? Why wasn't the law ever involved? Why wasn't proper protocol taken? Everything bad involving the Murdaugh last name was swept under the rug.
