Easter Week

 Good Morning, it's officially Easter Week! Surprisingly, Easter is one of my favorite holidays. Easter just feels like a small little preview of summer, and I love that season. Summer is just so stress free all the time, meaning I rarely get breakouts 😂. Going back to Easter though, my family and I celebrate it twice! Orthodox easter is on April 16th, meaning we basically have 2 easter weeks. For easter this weekend, we will usually just have our friends and family over and watch Harry Potter. We have a weird tradition that if Harry Potter isn't watched on Easter weekend, our holiday isn't complete. Then, for our Orthodox easter, we go to church the night before as well as the morning of. On the morning of we bring all the eggs that we colored and decorated and have a little competition among our friends and family. Basically, we just crack our own egg against another person's and who's ever doesn't break, wins. Then, after church, we usually go a greek or Serbian restaurant around the area for some lunch with our cousins and grandparents. After lunch, everyone's most likely in a food coma and so we all take naps at home until dinner. Easter is probably the most low maintenance holiday, and for that reason I love it a lot. And the fact that I celebrate two is also really exciting.
